Content Creator

The Role

We’re looking for a Content Creator that can drive creation of sales and marketing materials and manage ad campaigns to increase brand awareness and promote revenue generation. 

As a Content Creator you will:

  • Work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing
  • Create sales and marketing materials
  • Manage ad placements in magazines, podcasts, etc.
  • Manages content for weekly newsletters, website, and digital ads
  • Produce and edit multimedia content — from podcasts to videos
  • Collaborate closely with our Commercialization Scientist to turn technical results into accessible visuals/infographics
  • Uphold Berkeley’s brand identity and ensure visual and tonal consistency across all marketing materials

Impact of this role:

Your work will define how commercial brewers see and understand Berkeley Yeast. The materials you create will help turn complex science into clear, engaging stories that support sales messaging and showcase how our tech is different. 

You’ll be responsible for producing the content that attracts new customers, builds trust with existing ones, and strengthens the perception of our brand. By creating consistent, high-quality, and engaging materials, your contributions will be a key component for fueling Berkeley Yeast’s growth. 

What you will bring with you:

  • 1-5 years of experience with graphic design and content creation 
  • Experience in the beer industry
  • Proficient with Adobe Suite for graphic design (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with production editing for video or audio (e.g., Premiere, Audition, or similar)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Three excellent professional references

Pay and Benefits:

  • $70,000-100,000  per year (dependent on experience)
  • Matching 401K (after 1 year of employment)

Location: 

  • We’re based in the Bay Area and prefer someone who can work with us in person, though we’re open to remote candidates for the right fit.
